Social Commerce is a subset of eCommerce, where the activities happen over social media, such as Facebook and Twitter. This leads to specific terms like F-Commerce. However, social shopping is markedly different. It intends to mimic the offline shopping experience in the online space. For example, taking a friend‟s recommendations into cognizance or buying things together to avail of bulk discounts.
